Fred Bell Obituary

FRED EUGENE BELL, 69 PALMETTO, Fla. - Fred Eugene Bell, 69, a veteran, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2011, in Palmetto. He worked as an electrical engineer/electrician during his life and served in the U.S. Navy. He traveled much of his life but settled in Machesney Park, Ill., Florida and North Carolina with his family. Fred loved the outdoors, fishing, animals, camping and had a fondness for Florida. He was intelligent and a mastermind of life. He enjoyed helping those in need. He was a graduate of Harlem High School. Survivors include his wife of 49 years and love of his life, Rosemary Gresty Bell; daughters, Nicole (Paul) Bell Copeland and Catherine Bell Perry; sisters, Mary Lou (Anthony) DeVita and Dolores Nelson; grandchildren, Kensley, Chase, Dakota, Christian and Keirsten Copeland, Nicholas E. Bell, Ashley and Savannah Perry; great-grandchildren, Jason Bell and Mackenzie Perry. Predeceased by parents, Samuel and Sara Bell, and sister, Tina (Vick) Bell Larson. Arrangements by Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Bradenton.

Rosemary, We are sorry to hear of Fred's passing. I wish we would have known that you and Fred lived in Palmetto, as we live in Jacksonville and we could have gotten together sometime.
