John Dulaney 1932—2016
John Dulaney of Astor, FL, passed away peacefully on April 15th, 2016. Born Dec 13th, 1932, to Leonard and Margaret (Stephens) Dulaney, Jacksonville Arkansas. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. John married Ellen Mary Wilson on Dec 10th 1954. He was employed by ABF Freight and retired in 1985, moved to Lodi, WI, then moved to Florida for the rest of his retirement. He is survived by his children: Virginia Ludke (Dennis Pahnke), Madison WI, David (Sarah) Dulaney, Pecatonica IL and Russell (Raquel) Dulaney, Astor FL. Grandchildren, Chad (Joy) Files, children: Caden, Carter, Adalyn, Colson - Fredericksburg, VA. Jared (Suzanne) Files, Children: Peyton, Brooke, Carter, Shaylee – Baraboo, WI, Josiah Ludke - girlfriend Claudia Children: Eddy and Layla, Merrimac, WI., Annah and Emma Dulaney, Andy and Lyndsey Dulaney: Brother and sisters: Leonard (Marta) Dulaney – Ruth Calhoun, Mickey (James) Taylor all of Arkansas. Sister and Brother in laws: Dee Schoepfer, Grace Blucher, Cecil (Evelyn) McKinney, Janet Jackson, Mike (Linda) Jackson of Rockford IL, Juanita Wilson – Peoria IL, Joyce (Loyal) Johnson – Beloit WI, and Sharon Tenjum – Deforest WI. Many Nieces and Nephews. Predeceased by his wife Ellen and many loved relatives.
Graveside service will be held at the Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8800 N. Alpine Rd., Machesney Park, IL on June 11th, at 10:30 a.m. with a luncheon to follow at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1301 Jackson St., Pecatonica IL 61063, at Noon. Flowers and memorials can be sent to St. John's Lutheran Church.
