Larry Lee Pulliam 1948—2018
Larry Lee Pulliam, 69, of Caledonia passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. Born in Rockford on May 15, 1948, to Charles D. and Tellma M. Pulliam (Chandler). A proud Veteran of the United States Army, he worked for over 30 years at Hydroline. He worked with L&N Distribution, he was excited to start his new journey. Larry loved to buy and sell at local swap meets and flea markets. An avid bowler and fisherman he was known for his great sense of humor. Beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and dear friend; he will remain in our hearts forever. He is survived by children, Jennifer Hopper, Dean Pulliam, Lucas (Melissa) Pulliam, Denise (Jason) Trickler and Serena (Andrew) LaPonsie; parents, Charles and Tellma Pulliam; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 5 siblings; numerous nieces and nephews; and many beloved friends. He is predeceased by his longtime girlfriend, Susan Lenz.
Celebration of Life Memorial to be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 23, 2018, at Riverside Community Church, 6816 N. 2nd Street, Machesney Park, with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
