LORETTA M. HAUGEN, 90 ROCKFORD - Loretta M. Haugen, 90, a lifelong resident of Rockford, died peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at St. Anne Center. Born May 10, 1923, the daughter of John and Rose (Scandroli) Milani. Married Lloyd Haugen, Jr. on March 31, 1951, in Rockford at St. James Catholic Church. He preceded her in death in 1989. Loretta worked at Illinois National Bank and Henry Lindberg Furniture. She was a member of the Verdi Club and the Lombardi Club, and was a former member of Maun-Nah-Tee-See Country Club. She loved every moment with her family and she never missed an outing or a grandchild's sporting event. She enjoyed cooking, golfing, playing cards, shopping and flowers. Loretta was a special friend to many people and left us all with many fond memories. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Survivors include her daughters, Andrea (Lee) Setter and Lynn (David) Stockton; grandchildren, Andrew (Natalie) Setter, Adam (fiancée, Jessica Lewis) Setter, Eric (fiancée, Kerry Fluder) Setter, Clayton Janicke, Kaylin Janicke and Zeke Stockton. She was anxiously awaiting the birth of her first great- grandson expected in January. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers, William, John and Thomas Milani and sisters, Dorothy Milani and Frances Dallosto. Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Road. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday at Holy Family from 9 a.m. until time of prayer at 10:15 a.m. Interment will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
