Penelope Brentner Obituary
Penelope K. Brentner, age 74, of Monroe, died on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the Monroe Health Services in Monroe. She was born on May 8, 1943 in Rockford, IL; the daughter of Charles and Ruth (Lindenberg) Anderson. Penelope and Carleton Brentner were married in Rockford, on May 7, 1966. She was employed with Karen Spinners, Delmonte, and Swiss Colony. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Monroe. She enjoyed music, especially Elvis Presley and the Beach Boys. She is survived by her son, Charles (Fiancé Lisa De Broux) Brentner of Monroe; sister, Kathleen Carr; brothers, Bruce, Brian and Steven Anderson; brother-in-law, Howard (Pat) Brentner; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at First Baptist Church with Pastor Matthew Spoonhour officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM on Saturday at the church. Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family. Condolences may be sent to the family at: shriner111.com

My sister fought very hard twice to beat cancer but God sead, it's time to rest, you've went through enough. Now she is in heaven with my mother whom she loved and missed terribly. She grieved along time about our mother diying.I loved my sister and got to see her before she passed.Rest in peace my sister, and I hope to see you when I pass. Love your sister, kathy.

Sorry to hear of Penny's passing. She fought the cancer twice but God called her home.
Life is but a stopping place
A pause in what's to be
A resting place along the road
To sweet eternity
We all have different journeys
Different paths along the way
We all were meant to learn some things
But never meant to stay
Our destination is a place
Far greater than we know
For some the journey's quicker
For some the journey's slow
And when the journey finally ends
We'll claim the great reward
And find an everlasting peace
Together with the Lord

Miss the fact i never got a chance to meet my moms only sister so sorry for her passing Kim i hear she was the sweetest person.
