Si Le Obituary
Si Mui "Samantha" Le, 50, of Roscoe, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 14, 1970 in Vietnam, the daughter of Tat Lai and Ngan Che, and immigrated to the United States in 1981. She graduated from the University of Nebraska/Lincoln in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Samantha married John Tran on July 8, 1995 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She owned and operated the Imperial Palace in Roscoe with her husband John and enjoyed her career as a sales representative with CB Distributors in Beloit, WI for the past twenty years.
Samantha is survived by her husband John Tran; three daughters, Erica, Alicia, and Kayla Tran; brothers, Sam A Vong, Sau Khin Vong, Don (Linda) Le, Paul (Karen) Lai, Luc (Leona) Le, Sat (Lieu) Le; sisters, Vong Tau Cu, Kien (Joe) Le, Nhi Mui (Bill) Lai, and Kris (Tony) Nguyen. She is preceded in death by her father, Tat Lai.
Visitation will be held 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm Monday and 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Tuesday & Wednesday at Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe. Burial will take place Thursday at 10:00 am, Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park. To share a memory or condolence please visit www.honquestfh.com

Dear John, Girls, Famiy and Extended Family,
We are so sorry to hear about Sam. I remember her letting me call her the wrong name for a very long time and never correcting me when we visited Imperial Palace! She was beautiful and kind. God Bless You All as you go down this road. You shall remain in our thoughts and prayers.
