Steven Sheetz Obituary

STEVEN M. SHEETZ, 57 ROCKFORD - Steven M. Sheetz, 57, entered into eternal life on Saturday, July 20, 2013, in his home. Born September 21, 1955, to Jerome and Laura Sheetz. Steven was kind and tender hearted. He loved the outdoors with an appreciation for nature. He enjoyed the times spent hunting and fishing with his dad. Survived by father, Jerry; stepmom, Cyndy; brothers, Randall (Sue), David (Tara), Mel Sheetz and Keith (Diana) Lacy; uncle, Michael (Eileen) Sheetz; and other extended family members who loved him. Predeceased by mother, Laura; stepfather, Keith; uncle, Thomas Sheetz. Private family services will be held. My heart goes out to all of Steve's family and friends. I've known Steve for several years since he stopped in at my business on Charles Street and I used to see him at Logli's. He always had a smile on his face and was always willing to help everyone out. R.I.P. Steve. You will be missed!

I knew Steve for the last 4 years. He was my downstairs neighbor when I lived at Charles St. before I moved. He was a good neighbor to me and my kids. He would always cook for us. He was always nice to us. He protected us. I will miss him so much.
