Marilyn,

You are in my prayers. Bill was a great man and a great friend to my dad. I so enjoyed meeting the guys at the Steam Plant Saturday morning to hear their crazy stories - most of which were embellished quite a bit! God Bless.

I have many fond memories of Bill. As a boy, I thought his furniture store was a fasincating place. He made me feel welcome there.

Years later, when I saw him performing his duties as county board chairman, I was always impressed with how hard he worked and how he always did his best to keep on top of things.

Belvidere and Boone County will miss him.
