I can' believe it's already been a year. I still miss him terribly. My mother will have been gone one year August 29th. We were in the old neighborhood yesterday taking eggs and visiting the Story's and Stainbrooks. They and the Pontas and Mrs. O'Dell seem to be the only original ones left. We all were so lucky to grow up in that neighborhood. Love you, Suzy and Milton

I feel like I lost another dad.He was a dad of my friend and her brother in the neighborhood, I knew him all of my life. Fun, humorous and great to go hiking and camping with him and Debbie. I loved those times! They were very special outings. Along with my dad, and 3 other neighborhood 'Dads' a proud member of the 'Unholy 5', 1954-1979. I know my dad was proud of that! Mr. Cator always had a smile on his face and was happy and fun.He spent time with us neighborhood kids, timing us running around the block. As a kid , and now, I was really interested in gardening and was very impressed he sold garden stuff! Those cool Sunset books entertained me for hours! That inspired me to become a Master Gardener. I hope he and my dad are laughing and joking in Heaven right along with Mrs. Cator, another mom of the neighborhood. My love goes out to you, dear sweet man, also to Ben and Debbie and the rest of their family. RIP, Mr. Cator, I love you!
