Bob Siravo

Bob Siravo, loving husband, father and grandfather, died unexpectedly in his sleep on July 6, 2016 at the age of 73. Born in Providence, Rhode Island into a military family, Bob grew up living in states across the country including Alaska, Maine and Wyoming. After graduating from Miami University in Ohio, Bob joined the U.S. Air Force as an officer and soon became a C-130 navigator, serving three tours in Vietnam. Bob's many accomplishments in the military include being promoted to Colonel two years before his peer group. He retired at Mather AFB as a squadron commander. He then began a second career in the credit union industry and eventually served as CEO of Travis Federal Credit Union in Vacaville and CEO of Wescorp in Glendora, California. Bob enjoyed a lifelong love of golf and played some of the world's greatest courses including St. Andrews in Scotland. During one of his most exciting golf games, he had two hole-in-ones in the same round at Spanish Bay GC on New Year's Eve in 2000. His son Bobby was there to witness it, which made it even more special. Bob is survived by his wife Trish, whom he met in Bermuda when they were teenagers and their Dads were both stationed there. They re-met 10 years later in Columbus, Ohio and were married. Bob is also survived by his sister Patty (Gary) his son, Bobby (Brenda), daughter Susan (Lee) grandchildren Ben, Brady, Brody and Sophie. Bob was a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held in his honor at Del Paso Country Club on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. 3333 Marconi Ave., Sac. Ca 95821.
