Carmon Auble Obituary
AUBLE, Carmon Myers
Carmon Auble, age 78, a long time resident of Fair Oaks, Calif., passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at Ashland, Ore., community hospital. Born and raised in Chisholm, Minn., he became an engineer specializing in aeronautics at UW-Madison. He married, and in 1960 with his wife and children, he moved to Sacramento to join Aerojet. In 1974 Carm co-founded Sierra Technology (STC) of Carmichael. His down-to-earth personal approach engendered mutual loyalty and made STC a key area temp job employer for many. Carm was a bright, kind, and giving man who lived well. His life was fulfilled by his family, career, many hobbies and interests, and a passion for challenges, especially high-altitude climbing. He was active long after treatment for chronic lymphocytic Leukemia. His survivors are: wife of 53 years, Lou Ann; son Roger Scott (Dana) of Port Orford, Ore.; daughter Janet of Ashland, Ore.; son David (Joann) of Orangevale, Calif.; and grandchildren Shelly, Shawna, and Madison of Sacramento. A Memorial service will take place on May 3 at 10:00 a.m. at the Unitarian Church, 2425 Sierra Blvd., Sacramento.

Carm and Ann were friends from the days of the UUS camping trips to Mendocino, especially one thanksgiving back in 1970. I have run into them many times since at musical events around town. What a fun, adventurous guy he was. I'll see you at the memorial service in Sac

Back in 1985 Carm helped me get out of a civil service job and into Aerojet through STC. He saved my career (and my sanity), and he was a great guy to work with.

I saw this sad news in the paper and I am so sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in the arms of the Lord, for His timing is perfect. Carm seemed to be a fun-loving man full of adventure and life. What a blessing he was on this earth. My prayer is that you will draw ever closer to our Creator during this sad time.
