Charles Clark Obituary

Charles Everett Clark

August 16, 1937 - February 18, 2024

Rocklin, California - Charles Everett Clark, 86, of Orangevale, California, passed away on February 18, 2024, in Rocklin, California. He was born on August 16, 1937, in Quincy, Massachusetts.

Fondly known as "Charlie," he was a loving man, quick with a joke and a song. He was a dedicated and long-time resident of Orangevale, Ca.

In 1974, Charlie founded Clark Air Conditioning and Heating alongside his wife Marcia, a business they successfully ran together until its sale in 2004.

Charlie led a group of community leaders and collaborated with the Orangevale Recreation and Park District staff to advocate for what is now the Orangevale Community Center, which opened in 1996. Charlie also volunteered for the Orangevale Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce, and other local organizations. He had a passion for singing and was a member of a Barbershop Quartet.

Charlie is survived by his wife Marcia Clark, brother Stanley Clark, brother Stewart Clark, son Jim Clark, daughter Marcie Ellis, son-in-law Derek Ellis, and grandson Justin Ellis. He is preceded in death by his sister Anne Lawyer and brother Robert Clark.
