May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Doris's parents and mine were neighbors in Memphis on Wilson Street. Our families relocated to Sacramento in 1959. Our families continued that relationship as being members of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Well my girl (my sister from another mother) I guess “God” decided it was time for you to rest your body and free your spirit from all the earthly woes. We’ve been so much apart of each other’s lives from childhood. I wish we could back to the time where were just children at play. I’m know I’m going to miss physically seeing or hearing you. Still I’ll think of you every time I hear some of our favorite songs , see one of our favorite restaurants or when something will trigger a memory that will make me smile . Like how as kids we would slip out the back door of Shiloh when our Mommas took us to church trying to give room to people when they got “Happy “. You’ll always be in my heart forever & a day.
