Edward FAUST Obituary

FAUST, Edward L.
April 13, 1938 - May 4, 2013 Well, what can we say? What words can describe Edward (Ed) Louis Faust?
To name a few: Consummate Gentleman. Dignified. Elegant. Handsome. Eccentric. Generous. Really Smart. Humorous. Kind. Sentimental. Bon Vivant. Merchant. World Traveler. Loyal Friend. All Around Good Person. Faithful Child of God.
Ed died peacefully from Alzheimer's Disease. Those of us in his family who mourn his death, are grateful to his most kind and competent doctor (and friend) Michael Gaddini, and to the caregivers at Asheville Court McGregor Home.
Ed loved his daughters, his sister and her family, and his granddaughters, and all of us who loved him. Beyond missing him, we will remember his many acts of kindness and generosity, his many eccentricities, and his faith in God, and we will be comforted that he is looking out for us in his new position as Angel First Class.
A Memorial Mass will be held for Edward on May 14,2013 at 3:00 P.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 26th, & K Streets, Sacramento.
A Celebration of Edward's Life will be held at a later date.

What a faithful friend. I last saw Ed at our Class of 56...50th Reunion. Ed always made me smile and laugh. His people skills were always a cut above. His kindness will always be remembered. "Angels around you, Ed." "I'll see you on the Other Side"....Betty Gibson DeLoach

Sorry to hear of Ed's passing. I just this morning found a picture of Ed and my dad from the early 60's and was hoping to track him down to send him a copy.

Ed was a truly kind and caring human being, thoughtful and generous to friends, family, and strangers alike, and a great champion for stray kitties. I miss him greatly.
