Jacqueline Schaeffer Obituary

"Jackie" as she was affectionately known to her friends and family, passed away unexpectedly on June 14, 2016, in Sacramento, Ca. Jackie was born in Flagstaff, Arizona on August 28, 1956. She moved to Lodi, California with her family where she graduated from Lodi High School in 1976. She was a talented pianist with an ear for music who wrote musical score and performed in the Lodi Drum and Bell Core. She took pride in having the highest score on the bowling team. She later moved to Galt where she enjoyed square dancing and hanging out with her best friend, John Corley. In 1999 she moved to Sacramento where she loved to cheer for the Sacramento Kings and attended HRC and Aim Higher. She was a talented musician who enjoyed and played music throughout her life. She loved jewelry, coloring, going shopping, decorating for the holidays and telling jokes. She took pride in being the "Joke Master" in the Bruceville Terrace monthly newsletter. Jackie was sweet, kind, loving and friendly to all she met. Her beautiful smile, twinkling eyes and sweet spirit will be genuinely missed. She is survived by her loving mother, Delia Schaeffer, caring sisters, Julie Watts, Linda Walton (Duke) and Amy Crabb, dedicated niece and nephews Ashley Watts and Duke and Daniel Walton, her cousins and friends. Much comfort is taken in knowing Jackie will be greeted in heaven by her father, Henry Schaeffer, and Granny, Emily Lewall. The family is very grateful to all of Jackie's caregivers and supporters throughout the years. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 29, 2016, at 12:00 pm at Valley Hi Country Club, 9595 Franklin Blvd., Elk Grove, CA 95758. Jackie will be missed! She had a special Positive Attitude and outlook on life. Jackie loved sharing her knock knock jokes with me. She was always loving, caring, and sharing with my Daughter. Dacia loved spending time with Jackie. Jackie would color with her and read to her. Thank You Dear Jackie for being such a Good Friend! Our Hearts are broken!
I am confident your presence on the other side will bring Love, Joy, Happiness, and Smiles as you did on this side. Bless You Jackie.
