Jim's delight and joy in his family was heart-warming to behold. His quiet humor and love of his wife Patty was always evident. It was a privilege to spend time with Jim and Patty, and we wish Jim's family love and comfort in this sad time. May memories of the many happy times shared bring them comfort.

Jim knew what a treasure he had in his family. His eyes would light up when his wife Patty was near. He was a sweet man who will be remembered fondly. May amazing memories of Jim help his family through this difficult time.

My condolences to Pat and all of Jim's family. I met Jim many years ago through softball, GSSCS, and very much enjoyed playing with Jim and against him on the diamond. He always had a good attitude and was willing to pitch in and help when the club needed a volunteer. He will be greatly missed by all of us.

Jim was a part of our "extended family" at The Capital Athletic Club for the last 20-plus years and his warm, caring smile and sense of humor will be missed. This time of year seemed like it had special meaning to him as the baseball and softball seasons would be ramping up. I'll cherish our talks of spring training, the upcoming season's prospects for our favorite teams and what he was willing to do to condition his body for another year of play. I was motivated by his willingness to keep his workouts vigorous so he could continue playing, as much for the camaraderie of his friends as his love of the game. May Eternity find you always hitting line drives in the gap, stretching them from a doubles to a triples and rolling strikes and picking up 7-10s with regularity. May those you love be consoled by the notion that your are now safe at Home. Godspeed Jim.

He was one of the best men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing! The thing I loved most about Jim was how deeply and purely he loved my mom. Thank you Jim for everything!
