John G. Buno

Buno, John G. Dec. 10, 1935-Aug. 25, 2014 John, beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away peacefully at home at the age of 78 and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was born in El Monty, Ca. John graduated from Sacramento High School in 1953. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. After his service, he was an electrician and IBEW member, (local 340) for over 25 years until he retired. He was preceded in death by Dorothy McCallister (Dottie); parents, Nick and Mary Ellen (Tiny) Buno and brother, Donald Buno. He is survived by his son, Glen Buno; his son, David Buno and wife Elizabeth Buno; his son, Martin Buno; his stepson, Brian Hart, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he adored. John is also survived by his sisters Joan Bush and Verna Collins. He will be laid to rest at Sacramento Memorial Lawn with a private graveside service.
