Sacramento, California - John was a loving husband and father born in Erie, PA. He was a Sacramento resident for over 55 years. He leaves behind adult children, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces/nephews, cousins and friends. John was preceded in death by his wife Joan among other family members. He is a retiree of McDonell Douglas Corporation, Sacramento Regional Transit, and later UCD Medical Center. He enjoyed family reunions and vacations, golfing, Jazz and Blues festivals, and interacting in his neighborhood, church, and retirement communities in various ways. Services for John Thursday, JULY 29, 2021, 11:00am at Paradise Missionary Baptist Church, 3651 27th Avenue, Sac 95820. COVID mask/distance restrictions will apply

Ms. Ross and family, I wish for you that your grief is healing a little. Your husband was an amazing support to my family I will always remember his amazingness and also that it was his excellent family that made his support possible. Thank you, John Ross may you rest in POWER!

I worked with Mr. Ross at RT many years ago. He was one of the nicest, kindest men. I saw him everyday & he always had something nice to say. My deepest sympathies to his family.
