Surrounded by family, on the morning of June 17, 2009, Keith Dennis Pendergast of Sonoma, California passed away at the age of 46. Keith is survived by his sisters, Kathy Sasabuchi (Barry), Kerrie Schottle (Brad); brother Kevin Pendergast; nephew Derek Sasabuchi; nieces, Anne, Amber and Alison Schottle and Riley Pendergast. He was preceded in death by his devoted grandma Grace Dragoo; loving parents, Thomas and Barbara Pendergast; and older brother Kenneth. Keith was born on November 16, 1962 in Truckee, California. He was a special child who enjoyed splashing in the pool at Easter Seals, attending Laurel Ruff, Starr King and Greengate Exceptional schools and making friends with the other residents and especially the staff of the Sonoma Developmental Center. Keith had an infectious laugh, a never-ending curiosity, an appreciation of the soothing sounds of a child's music box. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him, forever in the hearts of those who loved him and eternally united with those who went before him. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, June 25 at 1:00pm at Price Funeral Chapel (6335 Sunrise Blvd., 916-725-2109) in Citrus Heights with a reception to follow.
