Lynn Chilimidos Obituary

Lynn Chilimidos passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 8, 2013. She leaves behind her daughters S. Diana Harvey and Beth Hammitt, their husbands Ken Nordgren & Todd Hammitt, and her grandchildren Trevor Hammitt, Baylie Hammitt, and Makayla Nordgren. Her husband, Robert Chilimidos, passed away in 2006. After obtaining a bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley she served troubled youth for 29 years through Alameda County Probation Department, as well as Warren E. Thornton Youth Center and Children's Receiving Home in Sacramento County. She loved playing games, the slot machines at Thunder Valley, crossword puzzles, reading mysteries, eating candy, drinking coffee and smoking her Virginia Slims, but most of all she loved her family. Her children take solace in the fact that the since her move to Merrill Gardens, an assisted living residence, she was very happy. She made lots of friends and enjoyed life. Per Lynn's wishes there will be no services.
