Michael McKittrick Obituary

Resident of Gold River, Ca. Michael (Mike or Mick to many) passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. He recently was diagnosed with late stage lung cancer. He was born in Sacramento to Walter and Virginia McKittrick. He was raised and attended schools in Sacramento, Marysville, Oakland and graduated from St. Mary's College in 1969 - the same year he and Susan (nee Gardella) were married. Together they lived and raised their three children in Fremont and Alamo. Michael's professional career was primarily dedicated to the coconut and safflower oil trade. He also owned a furniture store in Danville. After retirement, Michael and Sue moved to Gold River where Michael continued his love/hate relationship with golf alongside his troop of friends he had since elementary school. Michael's Irish genes gave him the gift of gab, a wicked sense of humor and a lightning quick wit. He made people laugh even when they knew they shouldn't. He valued friendship and, most of all, loved and enjoyed being with his family. He is survived and will be forever loved and missed by his wife Susan, sons Todd (Lanya) and Sean (Monique), daughter Kelly Zamora, grandchildren Conner, Tony, Cole, Hunter, Dalton, Isla and Everett, sisters Patricia McKittrick and Maureen (Steve) Greenhagen, sisters-in-law Peggy Grant (Hal) and Araceli Gardella, eight nephews and nieces and their children. Private services to be held. Memorial donations may be made at HearSeeHope.com

Hi Sue:
I tried to mail you a card, but it was returned. I had an address on Stony Bar Way.
Can you provide me a correct address?
