Kim, I just now found this as my computer was out of commission due to my son's heavy schedule and unable to get away from his work until yesterday. I am so sorry. But I do believe that we will all meet each other in heaven! Your mom led a fascinating life here, and she will continue to lead a fascinating life in heaven. (I moved up north.)

Great photos! I'm so glad we got to meet her when we were out there in 2007 and got to see her amazing dolls. She was lucky to have such a devoted daughter (I don't know her sons - guessing they must have been also). Keeping her wonderful memories alive will be easy after the full life she had.

Steve thanks for sending the copy of Muriel's obit. That is a very beautiful picture of her. She had a very accomplished life to be proud of.
Will be thinking of you on March 4th.

This guest book goes out to all those who had the privilege of knowing my mom, as well as to introduce others to Ensign Muriel Rose Hull McKean, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Trivia and Crossword puzzle wiz, Spellchecker before there was spellcheck! Artist, Dressmaker, Doll maker. Mom and I were the mascots of and supply train for Boy Scout Troop 530. Following in the footsteps of her dad, a Christian Science practitioner, Mom was a very devoted Christian. We love singing the hymns from the Christian Science hymnal. At age 90, Mom and I sang our first duet in the Christmas concert put on by the Merrill Gardens Singers (now Brookdale). The next year, Mom started her solo career with the chorus. Please enjoy these entries and add to them. We love you Mom.

Kim, my condolences in the loss of your mother. I know you loved her a lot. The doll you brought to the STV, made by your mother, was beautiful. Thanks for sharing some of her wonderful & artistic life with us.
