Nancy L. DeVore

1933 - 2018

With family and friends at her side, Nancy suddenly and unexpectedly left us on March 19, 2018. Preceded in death by her husband for 50+ years, Charles "Chuck". Nancy left behind son, Robert DeVore; daughter, Catherine SooHoo (Stan); daughter, Karen Morairty (Richard, deceased); ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Gale Davis (Venetia); sister, Shirley Cardinale (Frank, deceased); late sister-in-law, Marguerite Hansen (David, deceased); sister-in-law, Charlene Little (Don); close friend, Jim Connick; and many nieces and nephews. Nancy also left behind her beloved Shih Tzu, Lizzie. Born to Ruth A. Butler and Orie L. Garrison in Chico, CA Feb. 24, 1933, moving to Sacramento at a young age and then attending C.K McClatchy High School. Nancy was an avid golfer for over 30 years, arranging many vacations with husband, Chuck, family, and friends, to enjoy her favorite sport. Nancy loved to travel all over the world always looking forward to the next adventure. Nancy loved being with family and friends enjoying any type of gathering.
