LAW, Robert Mack
Age 81, died at his home on Saturday, November 7, 2009. He was born in Maryville, TN to the late Enoch and Maude Pryor Law. He served his county in the U.S. Force having retired in 1971 as a major having served for 20 years. During the Korean War he was a fighter pilot, having flown the RF-80, RF-84, F86, F101, and the F-4. During his career he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. He graduated from the University of Omaha NE and also attended Sacramento State University. He was a former member of Highland Presbyterian Church in Maryville, a 30 year member of the Sports Car Club of America, built winning race cars for his son Peter during that period, the local Shutterbug Club, and a former Boy Scout having obtained the rank of Eagle Scout. He is survived by his wife, Margarette Law, son Peter Law, daughter Stephanie L. Ruff and her husband James, and their daughter Jessica; sister Rosalynn Ware of Jackson, Ms., and nieces Laurie Courtney, Jill Shields, Beth Lytle, and Sidney Youngblood.
