I had the chance to meet Satender through family friends and in our brief meeting I was able to experience his kindness and sense of humor. I am utterly shocked at the passing of this young man and hope that justice will prevail in this case.

My thoughts and prayers are with Satender and his entire family both here in the U.S. and Fiji.

I worked with Satender for three years in Sacramento. He was one of the nicest, kindest guys in the world. He would have never hurt anyone, it was simply not in his character. I cannot help but think what a completely senseless killing this was.

Satender - It's been about a year since I saw you, since I left the company and you stayed. I was really glad to read you got a promotion, you deserved it, and very sorry that you never got to actually enjoy it. I'll never forget the 5 of us working on Saturdays and how soft an gentle your voice would be when you talked about or to your grandmother. There is some condolence in the fact that the world now knows how great you are also and that maybe people will open their hearts and minds to the differences between people and accept each other for who they are. You are a ray of sunshine and the world will be a darker place without you. I feel it is so much my loss that I didn't keep in touch. Rest easy gentle soul.

I was very sad to hear of the tragic death of Satender, I worked with him quite a few years ago in Sacramento and I remember with fondness his warm smile, I can see his face clearly in my memory and although I have not seen him in a number of years his was a lasting impression of a truly kind, dear human being. Peace in rest Satender and peace to the family that will mourn you.

Simon had a smile that lit up any room he walked in. His genuine willingness to offer a helping hand to anyone that needed it put him in a league of his own. I was fortunate to know him and his spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone who was lucky enough to cross his path.
