Stephen Lewis Obituary

LEWIS, Stephen George
Born in Sacramento on February 26, 1972, Stephen passed away after sudden illness in South Sacramento in Methodist hospital on January 25, 2005. Stephen had a life-long passion for sports (devoted KINGS fan) and people he loved. Stephen is the loving son of Betty Jo Zaranna, he is survived by his brothers Mark, Davis, and Christopher, stepmother Kerri and his father Gray Lewis, the most important person in Stephen's life. Stephen will be remembered for his great passion for life. He was an active member in the deaf community, always getting involved with deaf events and Joe Joint activities. Regardless of the challenges cused by the illness, Stephen always showed he wanted to explore the world and experience everything the world offered. He wanted to feel good about himself and his relationship with others. He was a person who wanted to have fun, be happy, and have meaningful things to do. His family, the S.T.E.P. Inc. family, and friends will dearly miss him. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Joe Joint, 5945 Palm Dr., Carmichael, Ca 95608. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of his life on Mon., Jan. 31 at 2:00 p.m. at La Serria Community Center at 5325 Engle, Carmichael, CA, 95608.
