Steven Michael Greer, died unexpectedly 8/2/2020, at the age of 61, in his Sacramento, CA home. He is survived by his mother Marlys, brother Jon and sisters Lori, LeAnn, and Toni. His loss will be felt forever. Thank you for your part in Steve's life and for keeping his memory alive in your hearts and minds. God bless you and those that you love. Dr. Greer
I know you did'nt believe in death but thought of it as a transition. I just became aware of your work and am sorry I never had the opportunity to meet you in this time space dimension. You are another part of the force now and hope to connect with you at some future date.

I’d like to start by saying my dad was my best friend, my mentor, an incredible father, and so much more than words can begin to describe. He taught me everything I needed to know when it comes to having a big heart, being loyal to your family, and working hard for the ones you love in life. He also taught me everything I know about being dedicated and committed to something in life. At a young age that some thing was sports for him and I, as well as my two sisters. He was there for every single practice and never missed a game either. He pushed me hard when I was young, especially in football, but now that I’m older I realize he was teaching me so much more than just being a good athlete and being the best on the field, he was teaching me how to be dedicated to your family and your team. Everyone who knew my dad knew he had the biggest heart and although at times it was hard for him to show it, he cared so deeply about all the ones he loved. I know my dad is so proud of me and even though I put him through tough times as a young adult, he took me in and helped me find my way which has led me to become the man I am today. A proud husband and father of two beautiful kids, the last Greer kids to carry on the Greer name Legacy, which my son Wesley has no pressure. Just like my dad always told me growing up, “you better have a son one day cus you’re the last Greer in the bloodline!” My father was taken way too soon from us, I was so excited for him to be a part of Wesley‘s baseball games and Norah’s gymnastics. I know he’s going to watch over us and he’ll always be there in spirit and in me. As I’m getting older I see myself more and more in the mirror looking like him, sounding like him, and now that he’s gone I can feel him more than ever in my heart and soul. I will forever cherish all the memories he gave us, the good Times and tough times, because they’ve made me who I am today. I can only hope one day when it’s my time to go that my son will look at me and remember me the same way I think of him. I love you dad, I miss you more and more every day, I know you’re at peace now and with God, I can’t wait to see you again and tell you all about what you missed. Even though I know you’re watching our every move anyways. You’ll still have to hear it all again. From one proud father to another. Love, your son.

One of Steve Greer’s biggest accomplishments was being a father. My dad is my super hero. My father is my strength. He taught me everything I know. Dad, my love for you is never gone.
You were a man of love and loyalty.
He was always there for me through the ups and downs, and taught me to enjoy every moment life has to offer.
There was not one soccer practice, game, tournament he missed. I never doubted looking towards the sidelines and there he was yelling at me to go tackle some girl or run a little faster. He always had my back.
I promise to start where you left off and take care of your beautiful family.
His life, his influence, his energy is linked to mine forever and I now take comfort in that. I take comfort in knowing that my Dad is no longer in pain.My dad will forever be in my heat and by my side. You have been there for me no matter what the choices I might have made you lovingly repaired my broken spirit, helped me plot a new course in life, and set me free to fly on my own once again. There is no greater love than that. You will always be deeply special to me daddy, and no matter where life takes me, I’ll carry that love with me.
