William Gilbert Obituary
Born on September 24, 1957, in Burbank, California, Bill graduated from Cordova High School in 1975. He went on to work as the general manager for Diverse Food Systems and later as a route driver with Canteen.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on July 19 at River City Christian Church Chapel, where Pastor Dan Wade will officiate. Refreshments will be served following the service.
Bill married Lisa Dahlgren in June 1981; they divorced in 2011. He is survived by his sons, Adam and Phillip; his daughter-in-law, Nayely; and his granddaughter, Grace.
One of eight siblings, Bill shared a close bond with his family. His siblings include Cathy Kudra (Ron), Joan Donohue (Michael, deceased), Thom Gilbert (Linda), Barbera Chapman (Stan, deceased), Jeanette Lawson (Ken), Joe Gilbert (Heidi), and Peggy Brookes (deceased) (Kevin).
Bill enjoyed jeeping, cycling, fishing, and spending time with his granddaughter. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
