Thomas Barhite Obituary
Born April 17, 1948, in Salamanca, he was the son of the late Herbert and Norma Rockwell Barhite.
He was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1968.
Thomas had been employed throughout the years with Bush Industries, doing security at the Olean Center Mall, Holiday Valley, Allegany State Park and the former Fancher Furniture Company.
He enjoyed spending time with his great-niece when she was younger, loved listening to music, attending rock concerts and followed professional baseball and football.
Surviving are a sister, Grace (Robert) Taylor, Newark; a niece; and two nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Norma Jean Dickinson and Faye Prusinowski.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday (April 17, 2024) at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca, at which time services will be held.

I will always remember Tom telling me that he was very apprehensive going into a classroom room where I was. He told me he was very happy that I greeted and welcomed him to our class. May God bless you as well as the Angels greet you and surround you with light, love and peace. Watch for my brother as he will be looking for you.
