Chase Adkins Obituary

Our beloved Chase Jordan Adkins passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018. Chase was born on May 19, 1992 and is survived by his parents, Tammie and Rick Izze of Salisbury, North Carolina, along with Will and Niki Adkins of Chesterfield, Virginia. Chase graduated from West Rowan High School in 2010 and the Nascar Technical Institute in 2012. Filled with a passion for adrenaline, Chase often sought adventure while working on automobiles and riding his motorcycles. He enjoyed spending time with his family and had a gift that the world lost and can never be replaced. Chase entered the arms of our Heavenly Father after suffering from addiction and depression, diseases he struggled with for many years. Although he found comfort and peace at times, he was never able to fully overcome a disease medicine could not cure, counselors could not quiet, and our love and affection could not adequately soothe. We find comfort in knowing that he will not only live on in our hearts and memories, but also by helping others as an organ donor. In addition to his parents, Chase is survived by his brother, Brett Adkins; his sisters Laura Heineck (Ken), Stacy and Olivia Izze; his niece Julianna Whitley; his nephews Henry and George Heineck; his girlfriend Cassie Humphries; and a host of special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visitation & Service: Please join us on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018 at Life Church in Salisbury, North Carolina to celebrate the life of Chase Jordan Adkins. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. followed promptly by a service at 2 p.m. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Narcotics Anonymous. Financial gifts can be sent to 708 Jake Alexander Blvd W. Salisbury, North Carolina 28147. We take comfort in knowing that Chase is surrounded by light, free from the struggle that haunted him. He lives now, still, inside our love and affection. Summersett Funeral Home is serving the Adkins family. Online condolences may be made at www.summersettfuneralhome.com.
