Eric Steven Clark

Eric Steven Clark, 79, of Linwood, NC passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025 at his residence.

Eric was born July 8, 1946 in Rowan County, NC to the late Mary Smith Clark and John Foster Clark. He was a graduate of North Rowan High School Class of 1964 and Wake Forest University Class of 1968 where he earned his Bachelor's Degree. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Eric loved golfing, playing pool, beach trips, and snow skiing. He worked as a Financial Planner for Ameriprise.

Eric was a member of First Presbyterian Church and active in the Discovery Sunday school class.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 48 years, Vickie Regan Clark; sons, Steven Phillip Clark (Lindsey) of Kingsport, TN and Joel Regan Clark (Katie) of Raleigh, NC; daughter, Caroline Clayborn Clark (fiance Johnny Spear) of Granite Quarry, NC and sisters, Lynn Ritch of Dunn, NC, Nancy Thornburg of The Villages, FL, Martha Clark of Altoona, FL, and Marianne Holt (Butch) of Clermont, FL and grandchildren: William, Macie, Anna Kate, Henry and Alice.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Saturday (Sept 6) at First Presbyterian Church in Salisbury, officiated by Rev. Dr. Randy Kirby. The family will receive friends following the service.
