James Goodnight Obituary

Mr. James Donald “Don” Goodnight, Sr., 76, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Tucker Hospice House. Mr. Goodnight was born April 14, 1940, in Cabarrus County. He was a son of the late Charles Marshall Goodnight and Grace Freeze Goodnight. He was a 1958 graduate of A.L. Brown High School. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Goodnight Kennerly; brother, Charles Ray Goodnight; and a granddaughter, Madison Grace Goodnight. Mr. Goodnight is survived by his son, James “Jay” Goodnight, Jr. and wife Christy of Thomasville; three grandchildren, Jack, Nicholas and Luke Goodnight.
