Aaron Johnson Obituary

Aaron Vance Johnson
Nov. 17, 1983 - July 25, 2014
Our beloved son, brother and uncle, Aaron Vance Johnson "Skinny," courageously left this world on July 25th, 2014 after battling cancer for the second time. His final days were spent surrounded by his loving family and friends whom he had touched throughout his short, yet very memorable life.
Aaron's greatest loves in life were his two nephews, Ryker and Cole along with his dogs Brandy and Dags.
Aaron leaves behind a devoted mother Lera Johnson; his father Ken (Laura) Johnson; brothers Bryant (Becky), Brandon (Jesse); and his nephews Ryker, Cole and another one on the way. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
We will celebrate Aaron's life on Thursday, July 31st from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, where complimentary valet parking will be provided on the north side of the building. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 1st at 11:00 am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 7405 Redwood Road, West Jordan, his final resting place will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Because of Aaron's love of animals and in lieu of flowers, we suggest a donation to Miracle Meadows, LLC a farm, which rescues animals. Donations can be sent to 3459 Sunnybrook Drive, West Valley City, Utah. 84119.
Aaron was an example for those who knew him, helping others to recognize what really matters most in life is to forgive with no animosity. He was full of love, good advice, and simple wisdom.
As Aaron would say… "No Worries."

Ken,
I am so sorry for your loss. You have been such a great addition to my family. I am so sorry for that the last months have been such a struggle.I was very fortunate to see Aaron at the hospital before his passing. He always had such a great sense of humor. Laughing and joking through his pain. Rest in Peace.

Dear Lera,

You have walked a hero's path right along with Aaron. I honor your courage and strength. I am humbled by the courage of your beautiful son and all he endured. Our loving Lord must have a most wonderful mansion waiting for him. The hole in your life will be painful for a while. Take peace and comfort that you gave your very all in Aaron's care.

To all of Aaron's family: I am so sorry for your loss. I pray you will feel his angelic spirit to bring you peace and comfort.

Most sincerely,
Judy Perry

Skinny was a loving and humble man. Although quiet, he always lit up any room when he entered. He will be truely missed.
