Gloria, I just heard of Alan's passing. so very sorry. As you might remember Alan and I had spent some time together in the Air Force. We got our commissions together and we pinned on each others Lt. Bars. Then to pilot training at Hondo Air Base, Tx. I'm sure you remember Hondo. Then we flew together at Hill AFB in the 733rd. Troop Carrier Sq. He was an outstanding pilot and admired by all that flew with him. I'll always cherish our experiences and friendship.
I tried to send you a message earlier today but I don't think I was successful.

What a wonderful kind person Alan was. We had the priviledge of living near him in Atlanta and grew to love him and Gloria. He will be missed for a time until we all meet again.
