My mom just informed me today of Aubrey's passing. I was best friends with her in junior high school and we did much together in mutual. I loved her like a sister and I'm so sorry that we had lost contact. It sounds like she continued being the bright person that she was in my life. I want you all to know the impression that she made on me, even though I was never able to tell her. She made me want to be a better person. She will be greatly missed on this earth and I can't wait to be with her again on the other side. I'm so sorry for your loss of such a special person. Please know that she will be loved and missed. (I'm Kathy and Wes Himle's daughter.) I'm sorry that I missed her funeral, I would liked to have said good bye. My thoughts and prayers are with all your family at this time.

I am so deeply saddened to hear the news of Aubrey's passing. I got to know Aubrey when I worked for the Olympics and then with the University. I can still hear her cheerful voice and see her warm, welcoming smile. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

Aubrey was one of the most fun, accepting, and loyal individuals. She brought inspiration and enjoyment to our LDSSA institute council at the University of Utah Insitute of Religion. Working with her was a marvelous privilege, and we share in the mourning of her passing.

Dear Karl, Shan, Chris Arnell & family, Chris & Rachel and family, and Liz & Josh,
I am full of sorrow at the loss of this beloved person in your family. But, I know that our passing from this earth is a "homecoming" of sorts on the other side, and thinking of this helps me through. One thing really sticks out in my mind: Aubrey always had a glow or "light" about her that especially twinkled in her eyes; ever since she was a tiny toddler. I never saw her unhappy (maybe you did; but, not me) and she always made others feel welcome and loved. I believe she will carry on in this, as she watches over all of you. I send you my love and prayers and deepest sympathy.

Aubrey was one of the most creative, fun, and intellegent people I have ever worked with. I was blown away by her ability to stay positive and optimistic. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to get to know her. She will be missed, but never forgotten.

She was very intelligent, willing to help, always happy, smiling, kind, and had a great sense of humor. She would often talk about her kids and how cute they were and how much she loved her family. I'm so sorry for your loss. I will miss her smile. I remember sitting next to her at the Sister Survivor luncheons talking about family, hair and life in general. She helped me when I was struggling and gave me good advice. I will always be thankful I had her in my life. She was truly a great woman and friend.

I will always remember how amazed I was by Aubrey. She and I met while working at the U and while she was starting her fight against cancer she was working, returning to school for her master's degree, and raising two beautiful children. A truly incredible woman with an amazing smile and spirit. She will be missed, but never forgotten.

Aubrey was such an amazing lady! I looked up to her in many ways and know that other students did as well. She had a passion for learning was an amazing professor and it showed in her lectures.
