Calvin Rowley Obituary
Calvin "Cal" Marion Rowley, son of Marion Rowley and Norma Anderson Rowley. Oldest brother to Colleen (Klingler), John, Richard, and Sandra (Jaynes). Born October 8, 1937 and graduated from this life August 31, 2014.
Retired Seattle Washigton Police Officer. Working on the SPD he was a legend for inovative technics. His greatest love was his family. He loved the out of doors and anything motorcycles. Writing was his hobby. He has drawn plans, built homes, poured concrete, worked with backhoes, flown small planes, drove truck, rode motorcycles, owned boats, and waterskied. I guess it could be said Cal lived and worked hard and enjoyed a full life! He loved and lived the gospel of Jesus Christ as an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survived by first wife, Marjorie Fehmel Rowley(1957) and current wife, Nylene Sandoval Rowley and children, Jan (Von) Hill, Carleen Rowley, Tamra (Larry) Hansen, Wayne, Marianne Springer, David, Marie Madrid, Michael (Emily), Marlin, Robert Sandoval, Daniel Sandoval, Melea Rowley and Marshall. With many grandchildren and great grandchildren his legacy will continue to live on. Preceded in death by his parents and his late wife, Janice Ronayne Rowley.
Memorial Services to be held Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS chapel located at 6300 South 300 East in Murray, Utah.

Nylene We are so sorry to hear of Cal's passing. We are so grateful that we were able to visit with the two of you last March. It was really nice getting to know you and reconnecting. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Nylene, I am sorry to hear of Cal's passing. I did not know him well as we have lost touch over the years. I do know you loved and cherished him. May the memories of the years you had together comfort you in the days to come. My condolences to you and your family at this time

Cal was always close to my mother and held a special place in her heart. He was her first nephew, born when she was about 11 years old. She talked of the times she spent babysitting he and Colleen.
