Christopher Eardley Obituary
Christopher Donan Eardley, age 25, loving son, brother, and Marine passed away July 11, 2012 in Oahu, Hawaii.
Chris was born December 29, 1986 in Scottsdale, AZ. He attended Hillcrest High School and joined the Marines at age 18 and attended boot camp at Camp Pendleton in San Diego.
Chris served his country as a U.S. Marine infantry soldier. He served two tours to Iraq. After he completed his full time duty as a Marine he worked for private security contractors in the US and UK. He loved his family and friends, serving his country, staying physically fit and playing basketball. Chris looked and acted as a Marine with his strong physique, focused discipline and his 6'-2", 240 pound frame. He had many accomplishments, certifications, and positions held within the military.
Chris was a very compassionate, fun, loving person who was very loyal and put people before himself. He would do anything for anybody and was known as the guy who 'had your back' and knew how to peacefully resolve conflicts. Chris worked out and jogged daily and his personal health and conditioning was a big part of his life.
He was a man of great faith and spoke often of his love for his Heavenly Father and encouraged many to make the necessary changes in their lives to overcome their trials by relying on God.
He was the member of The Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints and Eagle Scout, in which he enjoyed all his friends that accompanied him on various scouting events.
Chris is survived by his parents Kip and Rhonda Eardley, sisters Michelle Kellie Tischner and Stephani Darlin Larsen, brothers James Eardley, Jesse Scott, Ladd Larsen and Brooke Roney. He has one niece, MyKell Tischner and two nephews, Maximus and Maverick Larsen who he loved dearly.
We love you so much and will miss you dearly and know that we will be with you again.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Crescent View Stake Center 1050 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah. Family and friends may attend a viewing from 10:00-10:45 a.m. just prior to services. Interment will be in the Holladay Memorial Cemetery in Holladay, Utah.
