Dear Aunt Rae,
We have been sharing many fond memories recently. You and Uncle Dan have given us wonderful experiences to recall.
Staying at your house was a treat, but my favorite experience was going to Zion National Park with you two. What vivid descriptions we received! I saw the park from new eyes.
My kids also have chairs! How many did he make?
Thank you for the warm gift of family.
You are in my heart and thoughts daily and my prayers are with you.

Dear Aunt Rae,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Thank you for the support you have always given me and my family through the years. You two are amazing.
My children have loved the chairs that Uncle Dan made. They are always a favorite of other kids when they come to visit. Uncle Dan truly is a remarkable and talented individual.
May the Lord bless you at this time and always.

Dear Rae and family, I was so saddened to hear of Dan's passing. Both of you hold large memories in my heart. I have always admired Dan and his abilities and feel so privileged to have interviewed him for my high school research paper so many years ago. It was such a wonderful experience! I grew to love Aurora's history through him. I also grew to love writing and was encouraged every time I was told that Dan was so excited to hear the words of my weekly articles in the local newspaper, and was disappointed when I was unable to get one in on the rare occasion that I was ill that week or out of town. He made me feel proud of my accomplishments and I will never forget that about him. I will miss seeing him when I visit my little hometown, but am glad that I did get to see him during one of my most recent visits. Thank you both.
From the moment I heard the funeral plans, I planned to travel to Aurora to attend. However, I'm sorry to say that my schedule has changed suddenly and it looks like I will be unable to make the trip. But, Rae, even if I don't make it there in person, please know that I am there in spirit and I'm wishing comfort to be with you and your family at this time in your lives. Thank you for being such a big and happy part of mine.

Dear Rae and Family -- We express our love and concern for you at this time of loss. What great examples of courage and love you have shown before the whole of the Coons family -- and to all others who knew you and Dan. May the Lord's blessing continue with you at this time of sorrow.

Dear Aunt Rae, I have so many wonderful memories of time spent with you and Uncle Dan in your home, and with Uncle Dan on one round up I was honored to be a part of. I love you both very much and I'm so grateful for your example of unconditional love and devotion to each other. Love, Annette

Dear Rae, Terry, Charlie, Jim and families,
It doesn't seem right that the Patriarch of our family should be gone, but what a blessing he and 'you Rae' have been to all of us. You replaced the parents we didn't have the privelege of growing up with and how we have loved and appreciated you. Thank you Terry, Charlie and Jim for sharing them with us. We love you all so much.
It's so consoling to know we have Heavenly Parents who will continue caring for us when we leave this life to be with them.
May God Bless you all in the coming months and years. Just remember, we are here for you anytime.
