David Hall Obituary

David Hall Vernal, Utah David Bingham Hall, 90, be-loved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away Dec. 5, 2006. He was born November 28, 1916 in Vernal, Utah, the sixth child of Mark Moroni and Mary Fon-tella Stringham Hall. He graduated from Uintah High School with the Class of 1935. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1941 and joined the Army Air Corps as a Flying Cadet, receiv-ing his Pilot Wings in 1942. He married Trevelene Harber May 3, 1944 in the Salt Lake Temple. He retired as a Lt. Colonel in 1963, after 22 years of service, and moved back to Vernal. He was the Uintah County Civil Defense Director for eight years. He was active in the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has served in many positions, including ordinance worker in the Provo Temple and in the Vernal Temple. He and his wife have served three missions together. He is survived by his wife Treve-lene, their six children, spouses, and families: William Mark (Diana) Hall of Sandy, Utah; James Evan (Sue Ann) Hall of Vernal, Utah: Larry David (Gloria) Hall of Morgan, Utah; Lisa (Richard) Jolley of Vernal, Utah; Jed Harber (Michelle) Hall of Morgan, Utah; and Mary Angelene (Marcelo) Paz of Provo, Utah. He has 22 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He has one surviving brother, Acel Hall of Fruit Heights, Utah. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 9, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at the Maeser Stake Center, 2745 West 1000 North, Vernal, Utah. Friends and family may at-tend a viewing at the stake center from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral.

What a great legacy this wonderful man has left for his family and friends. Ever since our family moved to Maeser I have become acquainted with and enjoyed this great man. Always friendly, ever kind and pleasant to be around. Sincere condolences to all of you at this time.
