David Tabish Obituary

Washington, UT
David Tabish, of Washington, Utah, left this world on January 23, 2013, to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and move on to another new venture.
David was born July 7, 1943, in Salt Lake City, UT, to F. D. and Betty Lockman Tabish. David was married to the love of his life, and his best friend Mindy Tabish Riccardi, and had two loving stepchildren, Allison and Tanner Groves. David had four children from a previous marriage, Kimberly Kay Tabish Turner (Mark) Bountiful, Utah, Mark David Tabish (Wendy) San Antonio, Texas, Stacy Jo Tabish Cordray (Chris) Austin, Texas, Jason Todd Tabish St. George, Utah. They blessed him with 11 grandchildren. David had many friends and family members who will miss him dearly.
David spent most of his life recruiting and training insurance agents along the Wasatch front, many who will reap the benefits of his service and advice for years to come. David's enjoyments were many. He was an avid fan of the American Indian culture, where he had been involved in the Hopi Outreach Program. He also enjoyed camping, motor homing, and 4-wheeling. David found beauty in all surroundings, be it the desert landscape or the greenery of the forest: just to venture to the other side of the mountain was a thrill. David loved visiting with family and friends around a crackling campfire, gardening, and just plain staying busy. David was an avid cook and could prepare a meal fit for royalty for one or one hundred.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 2, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Jude's Maronite Catholic Church, 4893 Wasatch Street, Murray, Utah. Lunch will follow the service. In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Jude's Maronite Church. Family and friends are invited to share condolences online at www.cremationcentersu.com.

Tabish family, I am very sorry for your loss. I remember Mr. Tabish when he came to Trinity many times. He was my friend's dad, and I feel like an empty hole is in my heart because of how important he was to our entire school.

The Priest offered a beautiful mass for David today at St. Judes. He caught me afterwards and mentioned that he knew both dad and David and they both had good hearts. I have now lost four brothers and I learned certain qualities from each one of them. David enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved, laughed and lived. If we can find those qualities in life, It wont get much better than that. Mindy, Alyson, Tanner, Kim, Mark, Stacey and Jason, I love you all and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
