Ian Davis Obituary
Dear Ian, My beautiful, precious son-you are the love of my life! My heart is broken and the tears won't stop flowing. I've cried you an ocean of tears, now I am returning you to the ocean you loved. The turtles, dolphins and warm waves; the caressing arms of Grant . . . you are safe and warm now. You are simply the love of my life. Love, Mom.
Ian Grant Davis was born September 9, 1979 to Marie E. Maxwell in Salt Lake City, Utah. He passed away on January 21, 2012.
Ian was very talented and could build or fix anything. He loved to run marathons, rock climb and play sports. He was the ultimate tease as anyone who knew him could attest. He loved his nieces and nephews, brothers and sister; but his greatest love was his mother. She was always in his heart.
Ian is survived by his mother, Marie Fox (Bradley); his sister, Amber; two brothers, Aaron and Alex; grandmother, Helen Janney (Joseph); two nephews and three nieces.
The family would like to thank all those friends and associates of Ian who have been a part of his life. Ian will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 25, 2012, 7:00 p.m. with a viewing from 6-7 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood Road.

My most sincere condolences are going out to both the Davis and Maxwell families. I was Marie's secretary at LDA before she moved to Maryland. Ian would call me every single day to talk to Marie. If Marie wasn't in the office he would ask me to take a message and tell Marie that he loves her and she's the best mom in the world. That was the extent I knew Ian, but I could tell he was a very sweet man. I know Marie loved Ian more than anything, and when I heard the news my heart instantly broke. RIP, Ian.
