Kimberley Babbel Obituary
1962 ~ 2013
Our hero Kimberley Sue Thompson Babbel decided to go fly with the Angels on August 6, 2013. She was born June 18, 1962 in Mansfield, Ohio to David and Sherry Thompson.
She is survived by her husband; Mike Babbel, children; Ryan Babbel and Justin (Whitney) Babbel, her loyal companion Bear Bear, parents, siblings; David (Honi) Thompson and Sue Felter.
Preceded in death by her father-in-law Woody Babbel.
Kimberley's passions were her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm in the LDS Church located at 7350 So. 1300 W. where friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 pm and Saturday 1 hour prior to services. Interment West Jordan Cemetery.

Kim and Family
I will miss all of you. Ryan and Justin you stay strong and know that your mom loved you more than anything. Mike you have a wonderful wife I know she loved you too. Kim I am going to miss you. I always felt that you were almost like my second half. I am going to miss you a lot Kim. Kim's mom you are a wonderful person. I will never forget any of you. Kim is an angel in my eyes, someone who has always worn a smile even in the toughest and most painful of times.
When I met Kim over 25 years ago she welcomed me with open arms to a town I didn't know many. She became a dear friend, as her husband Mike had been for many years previous. When young our boys played together, and we have kept in close touch after moving. I feel blessed to have known Kim and to be her friend.
My last visit with Kim on close to her last visit to the hospital, when I was there for her to be the friend to her that she had always been to me, yet it turned out that she was there giving me a heart-to-heart talk, giving me her good wisdom and love, as what she has always been so good at.
I pray for Mike, Justin, and Ryan that they will know she is always in their hearts, will always be close by, she loved them so dearly. I pray for her parents, a child should never go before a parent, and I pray for the many others involved in Kim's life and will miss her dearly, as will I.
I love you Kim ~ thank you for the last words of wisdom Kimmy!!!

Kim, I knew you ask Justin's mom and how wonderful of a woman you raised him to be. I am sad for your passing and hope you are looking down on the loved ones who miss you. You were a wonderful woman and will be missed by many. You will be remembered and never forgotten. :)

Kim was always a hero to me. How her strength and aspiration kept her going. She never complained. I always will remember her sweet voice and the time she taught me to tie my shoe laces. Even looking at her long beautiful nails for years growing up, I started coping her and going to the salon at the age of 15. Kim will always be a huge inspiration to me. Not only her courage, beauty, and love...I will admire her forever. miss and love you

My thoughts are with Kim's family and loved ones at this time.
I only saw Kim at our high school reunions, but she was always so nice and pleasant to catch up with.

Kim was an amazing woman. She was always so positive and never complained, was never the victim with all the struggles she endured with the CF. Kim is someone we will never forget, she will forever be in our hearts and we will remember her with a smile on our face. She brought so much joy to everyone who knew her.

I am so sorry to hear of Kim's passing. I was one of her instructors when she went to the Respiratory Therapy Program at WSU. She was a compassionate caregiver with a unique prospective on giving good care to patients. My prayers to her family as this difficult time.
