My condolences to the family. I was at the University of Connecticut when Nick was there and we became friends. I knew him as a remarkable man with so many talents. A true Renaissance man with great love for his family and for life. My deepest sympathy. He will be missed.

I just heard about Nick's passing this morning at Ogie's. We enjoyed many a conversation there on lifelong education, option trading, and life in general. I still have his old red GMC and think about him whenever I drive it.
Nick will be terribly missed. He was loved by all of us and he will be cherished in our memories forever.

Nick will be greatly missed. I always enjoyed speaking with him when he called in. He always made a point to practice his espanol on our bilingual staff but most importantly, to me, he always remembered my children by name and always asked about them. He was so thoughtful and cheerful. Glad that he gave those traits to Jason. Your family is in my heart and mind and may care and love of those around you provide comfort and peace.
My sincere condolences,

Dear Suzy & Jason,
As you know, we go back 20+ years. Nick was always a pleasure to be around, and someone who I admired deeply. He was a great man who loved life, but maybe yogurt a little more. ;-)
My sincere condolences.

Dear Family,
You know Gary and I loved your Nick to death. His humor, knowledge, and his art work never stopped. Our deepest condolences to all of you. We know he would want us to go to his favorite Island in Greece that he loved to visit, because of the the long life everyone enjoys there.
God be with Suzy and family and friends, and associates during this time.

Nick was one of the most accomplished and yet simultaneously one of the most grounded and humble individuals I have ever met. Given this rare combination, "respect" and "admiration" are terms that are horribly insufficient to describe how most people (myself included) felt about Nick. He will be sorely missed.
