Bud and the entire Gaylord family are legendary. I had the privilege to know most, work for and with a few and ski with many. What a great family with such a marvelous figurehead who lead a full life with such gusto! A big loss for all, especially Claire. No doubt his send off is grand.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Gaylord family. I have such fond memories of Bud coming to my Rehab office to ask about getting in shape for his next adventure. I loved his enthusiasm and his joy for life. He will be deeply missed. I´m sorry I won´t be able to attend Bud´s celebration of life. I´m currently in BC but plan to make a few turns in his memory. Hugs to you all.

Dear Peter and family - my sympathy to you all during this sad time.
Bud (and Mary Ellen) were larger than life to me - a young kid, best friend with Peter, during the early Cliff Lodge and Bluebird Circle days in Salt Lake City (circa 1974-80).
Great memories of skiing the Tram, beloved dogs (Zeus and Buckets), watching your older siblings navigate school and life. They were wonderful and indelible times. Thank you.
Love to everyone, JR

Buddy was my niece Marti's father-in-law. I didn't know him, but respect the fine job he did in raising Mark. He had a wonderful life. May he rest in peace.

Although not living with the Gaylords, I grew up with them. So many happy memories of weekends in Sodus and their camp in the Adirondacks. Just a wonderful family, with Bud as the head. He will surely be missed by his children and grandchildren.

Bud was a beautiful, loving and kind person. He was friends with my father and after we lost him, Bud went out of his way to show me and my family so much love. I will never forget his kindness, and I know my dad and Bud are up there right now sharing stories.
Thank you Bud, and I will miss you.

Claire, our sincere love goes out to you and your family at this time. Bud was a friend to many people and a humble Utah icon. I first met Bud in my office almost 30 years ago to the very day. When Bud was in my office, he would often engage others in the office waiting room with friendly conversations. I am a better person knowing your family and especially Bud.
