Hagan Joseph Dworaczyk of Kosciusko, Texas passed away on July 31, 2006 at the age of 83. He was born in Kosciusko on January 4, 1923 to Kasper and Frances (Drzymala) Dworaczyk. Hagan married Pelagia (Pearl) Wiatrek on October 2, 1946 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Kosciusko. Hagan was a veteran of WWII and a survivor of D-Day. Hagan was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl on September 5, 1972: his parents: sisters, Bernice Szalwinski, Sefrina Heckford and Clara Danysch. He is survived by his children: Shirley Lyssy (Alvin) of Kosciusko, LeRoy Dworaczyk (Susan) of Poth, Bertha Korzekwa (Gabe) of Gillett, Kenneth Dworaczyk (Bernadette) of Floresville. Grandchildren: Doug Lyssy (Connie), Shary Marshall (Tom), Scott Lyssy, Russell Dworaczyk, C.J. Dworaczyk, LeAnn Dworaczyk, Blaise Korzekwa, Kaine Korzekwa, Cory Dworaczyk, Brandon Dworaczyk, and two step-grandchildren, Rebecca Gorzell and Alvin Gorzell Jr. (Jacy). Great grandchildren: Olivia Marshall and Katie Lyssy and two step-grandchildren, Blaine Gorzell and Brett Gorzell. Sisters: Bertha Kazdoy, Pauline Dworaczyk, Eleanor Gawlik (Emil) and Louise Mingo: brothers Stanley and Everett Dworaczyk and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation - Rosary Wednesday, August 2nd 2006 5:30 PM with rosary at 7:30 PM St. Ann's Catholic Church, Kosciusko Funeral Mass Thursday, August 3rd 2006 10:30 AM St. Ann's Catholic Church, Kosciusko Father Wojciech Pelczarski and Father Wojciech Reisch officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Ann's Parish Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to: Mass Intentions. Finch Funeral Chapel.
