My Wisconsin parents used to visit us every winter for several months when we lived in San Antonio. My Dad, a retired WI State Trooper loves old trucks and trains and it was a wonderful day when we discovered the Radiator Shop and Mr Flores, Arthur to my Dad. They struck up a friendship and we always made it over there for a visit, once or twice, or more, because there was always a deal to be made, and stories to share. I would pack them a snack of cheese and crackers, cookies, fruit, or more cheese. We moved to Virginia 11 years ago so my Dad lost track of Arthur and recently asked about him. My Mom passed away at the beginning of March this year so he's thinking about such things. We are sad to learn of Mr Flores passing and our prayers and thoughts are with Mrs. Flores and the family. We know Heaven is busy. My mother loved San Antonio so much and I'm sure she was happy to find a friendly face.

Dear Sylvia and Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear about Art's passing. He will be missed by all who knew him. I learned so much from him, we often spent hours talking about trains and toys at the shop, usually with a cold beer. Good times! He also was a dear friend who I could talk to about life in general. He always had a good story to tell and loved laughing! I reminded him at last years TCA meet about the accident my daughter had on his kitchen floor 32 years ago, he cracked up like it was yesterday. He taught me on so many things, I'll always remember our great times together. I'm sure he is educating everyone who will listen about toys and trains in heaven. God bless you and your family.

Arthur Flores (Big A) was a man among men. A Renaissance individual, a storyteller and Mimi's child, plus he was a darn good Scrabble player. No one knew TOYS like he did. He will be missed, but not forgotten. Heartfelt condolences to the family.

Sincere and deep condolences to Mrs. Flores and her family.
2 weeks ago, their son, Arthur, entered my thoughts and I couldn't stop thinking about them all. We drove past their home and waved to Arthur, never imagining what he and his siblings might be going through.
I am so very sorry for your great loss.
May you all be surrounded by calm and peace in this most difficult time.
Just know an old schoolmate still thinks of you all with the fondest of memories and will be thinking of your family this week.
Abrazo fuerte a todos.
