I was one of Cal's clients years ago. He was a very down to earth person and I appreciated his assistance. I'm sad to learn of his passing. May he rest in peace.
Was surprised to see his placquard still up at MalaisevLaw Firm.

In the 'better late than never' category, I would like to share my sadness at Cal's passing. We shared a common friend from my high school days in Midland, Texas, and the first time we spoke I felt like he was an old friend from those days, too. I've referred many people to Cal over the last 15 years or so, knowing that he would not only give them excellent legal advice, but he would be very human in helping them deal with their financial and personal challenges. My condolences to the family; rest in peace, my friend.

I just received word of Cals passing. There is very little I can say that has not already been said about this great man. He was an extraordinary lawyer, and a wonderful human being, with a warm and witty disposition. May God forever bless him and his family!

We just now learned of Cal passing away. Was a major shock! As clients of his twice, we really liked him, not only for his professionalism and expertise, but also for just being a wonderful human being! He will be sorely missed. Prayers lifted for all who knew and loved him.

We just heard of Cal's passing and immediately were saddened. We were fortunate to meet Cal over ten years ago. His personality was just so warm and delightful. We have thought of him often and had referred others to him. We are so very sorry for your loss.

Down to earth and loved his family, wife and her children. As a neighbor he was so great to talk to. I had no idea of his illness. I just know as a neighbor conversations, he loved his wife , his children , and Elizabeth's children.
dearly. My heart goes out to a wonderful family and neighbor.

My prayers are with the family. Pray for Gods grace to abound. Cal was one of my first bosses and he took a chance on me having no experience. May God Bless his passing and bring peace to his wife and children.

Sorry to learn of Callan's passing. Fond childhood memories of times spent at the Billingsley house. Wiffle ball in the front yard, fishing in the back and hours playing army. God bless Ella for her efforts with Callan and George.
Skip forward a decade or two and we re-connected to raise scholarship monies for high school students to attend UT and ATM. I have many good memories of the times we spent smacking golf balls and laughing after his unique but at times successful putting stroke. 25+ years he made the extra effort to travel to the Orange and Maroon golf tourney to play with the Daisy Gang UT grads. Slow tourney play was never a problem as Callan filled the wait-time with funny stories and jokes. God bless you Callan.

My best to Cal's family in this time of grief. Cal was always there with something interesting or funny to say. i have a place in Menard County close to Cal's and we talked a lot about our experiences. Cal's passing leaves a void for many of us.

My deepest sympathy to the Billingsley family. Cal's sense of humor will be missed by all; he was a great lawyer; he always gave more than he received. He served his clients with kindness and compassion, and he passed too soon.

We are so sorry to learn of the passing of Callan. I have known him since his earliest days in Lake Jackson. Like his mother and father, he was the greatest. Janice and I named our son after him. I remember the great eulogy he gave for his mother Colleen at her funeral in Ft. Mckavett. He will be missed. The good die young.

Only guy I know that can play 18 holes of golf after stepping on a golf tee that buried into his foot and shot one of his best rounds of golf. I never had a bad time when I was with Cal.
