Charlie Austin Obituary

AUSTIN
Charlie Ann Austin, of Pleasanton went to be with the Lord on January 23, 2014 at the age of 91. She was born October 29, 1922, in Jourdanton to Tom and Mary (Burmeister) Franklin. She is survived by her sons, Joseph William Austin III and wife Deborah of Lafayette, Louisiana, Thomas Murray Austin, Sr. and wife Susan of Uvalde and John Charles Austin and wife Anne of San Antonio; daughter, Mary Ellen Melville and husband Tom of San Antonio; nephew, Donald Haynes, Jr. of Cross; niece, Mary Catherine Kessler of Jourdanton; sister, Rose Mary Haynes of Pleasanton. She is also survived by numerous grand nieces and nephews as well as her grandchildren, Katie Austin of Lafayette, Louisiana, Thomas Austin, Jr. and Corbett Austin both of Austin, Melanie and James Spencer of San Antonio. Visitation will be on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 2:00PM to 7:00PM with family present from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Hurley Funeral Home Chapel, 118 W. Oaklawn in Pleasanton. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 2:00PM also at Hurley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Miguel Cemetery in Cross, Texas. Anyone wishing to leave condolences for the family or sign the guestbook may do so at www.hurleyfuneralhome.com.
