Cristina Gonzalez Obituary
On Wednesday, October 10, 2018, Cristina Gonzalez, stubborn soul and loving sister and daughter, passed away due to complications after a lifelong battle with illness at the young age of 31. Cristina was born on May 5, 1987, in Fayetteville, North Carolina to Alcisclo and Maria Gonzalez. She received her B.A. in English from St. Mary's University in 2010, and continued to actively write and build worlds for the imagination to explore until her death. Cris had a deep passion for creating and sharing; whether it be in her writing, painting, cosplay, game streaming or disability advocacy, she always thought of the enjoyment of others. She was known for her quick wit, unique smile, and deep wealth of odd knowledge. She is survived by her parents, Alcisclo and Maria Gonzalez, her brothers Joseph and Adrian, and her dog Delta Sinclair, grandparents Carmen and Felix, aunts and uncles, and cousins. Visitation services will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Castillo Mission Funeral Home, 520 N. General McMullen Drive, San Antonio, TX 78228 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, rosary at 7:00 PM.
