Felix Castellano Obituary

Felix D. Castellano, age 48, joined our heavenly Father on March 23, 2008 in San Antonio, Texas after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a devoted and loving father and husband. The consummate organizer of family events and gatherings, Felix loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed the outdoors and made summer vacations with family a priority. Fishing at Goose Island State Park was his favorite summer getaway. He is survived by his wife, Patti Castellano; children, Adam and Brenna; parents, Frank and Eva Castellano; sister, Sharon Knoblock and husband Paul; and many aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Porter Loring Mortuary North. ROSARY WEDNESDAY MARCH 26, 2008 7:00 P.M. Felix and I were good friends and classmates at St John Bosco, Holy Cross, and Central Catholic High School. I will always remember him as a kind, compassionate person, with a great sense of humor. He would often make us laugh, much to the dismay of our teachers. My prayers and condolences go out to his family.

Dear Mr & Mrs Castellano, & Sharon
Though many years have passed sinced our St John Bosco Days, it brings a sadness to my heart to hear of Felix's death. It brings back memories of the school days at Bosco when all the boys would tease Yvette and myself, but Felix never contributed. It was a family of friends helping during festivals, I will always remember. Our prayers and thoughts are with you,
Lorraine, Yvette and Mrs. Montelongo

To Felix's family, my deepest sympathy and prayers. Working with Felix, he always had a smile on his face, never got in a hurry, just took his time in walking. I last seen him at the library. We visited and he had not changed, we had a little laugh. Our Lord will keep watch over him now and he can rest in peace. Hugs to all of you. Betty/DSM/LGS ret
